Marketing Tips You Can Use Right Now ...
Check Letterheads ...
It pays to check that all the information normally expected in a business letterhead is actually found in yours. Possibly 30%
of letterheads have some vital factor missing, and that can leave a bad taste in the mouth of someone who looks to your
letterhead for information. A checklist for letterhead information includes:
- Business name, and possibly the name of the chief executives.
- Type of business or products you sell, if this isn't obvious from the business name.
- Street and number, including suite number if applicable.
- Post Office Box Number.
- City, State and Postcode. Always include Postcode, but if you have too much information you can drop the State.
- Telephone, facsimile and after hours numbers. Include area code.
- Email and Website address.
- Other required numbers such as ACN and ABN.
If you want to create the impression you are a big business or the market leader, include:
- your country on the address line,
- your country ISD code with your phone number, and
- any distinctive logo your business might have.
- Don't include an after hours phone number - it makes you look small.
