Time Management - Dress Advantages ...
People who are well dressed receive preferential treatment in almost all business and social encounters. Dressing well is
an incredible time management tool. If you don't believe me, try it when you go shopping. As my secretary says, "when
I wear thongs shopping, I get no service, if I wear stockings and high heels I am served straight away".
The time management advantage of being well dressed was demonstrated by an experiment with a delivery man. He wore
a plain black raincoat for one part of the experiment, and a quality beige raincoat for the other part. He called into twenty
five offices asking to deliver a copy of a popular newspaper to the person in charge. When he wore the black raincoat, it
took one and a half days, but with the quality beige raincoat, his waiting time was reduced dramatically. He delivered the
newspapers in a single morning.
